ABOUT

Kidz on the Move, an established outpatient private practice for the past 19 years, offers comprehensive services for all children and adolescents ages 0-21. Located in Hillsborough, NJ, Kidz on the Move has a state-of–the-art sensory integration gym which offers Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Therapy.

Kidz on the Move conducts comprehensive evaluations, individual one-on-one treatment sessions in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language therapy. Additionally, we offer Augmentative Communication evaluations, Oral Motor and Feeding Assessments, Social Thinking®, our ongoing social skills group and The Wilson Reading Program are also provided. The Wilson Reading Program is run by a certified special education instructor.

All of our pediatric specialists are dedicated professionals with an average of twenty plus years experience in working exclusively with children. Our therapists are licensed professionals who participate in numerous continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest advances in their respective fields.

Our therapists are trained and offer PROMPT, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), The Listening Program, Sensory Integration and SIPT Certified, Kinesiotaping, Brain Gym, Pediatric Massage, Feeding Therapy and Pediatric Yoga. Additionally, Mindfulness and Social Thinking.

Meet the Owner/Director

Michele Diaz-LaManna is a pediatric physical therapist and owner/director of Kidz on the Move Pediatric Rehab. Center, PA. Michele has been a physical therapist for 31 years, 30 of which have been specialized in pediatrics. She knew she wanted to become a physical therapist at a young age when her first cousin was diagnosed with Duchenne, Muscular Dystrophy. This motivated her to volunteer at a local hospital throughout high school in various specialties of physical therapy. Since graduating college with a specialty in pediatrics, she has worked in pediatric rehab centers, home care, Early Intervention, school based, private practice and as a specialist in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 7 years. She has done extensive talks and lectures at local hospitals and child development centers on integrating the child with special needs into the classroom and educating the general public on the unique needs of children and their families with special needs.
