Kids who learn together, grow together.

GROUPS

Kid-2-Kid is an ongoing social skill group where children are separated by age. Up to five children are permitted to a group. Each group meets one time a week for 60 minutes for a 10 week term. Parents are given written material with activity ideas to practice with at home, based on the focus of the group.

A minimum of 3 children are needed to run each term.

Kid-2-Kid: A Mindful Social Thinking Group

A licensed speech-language pathologist uses Social Thinking® concepts and materials to teach children social competency through play activities. (Social Thinking is a treatment methodology created by Michelle Garcia Winner that provides concrete teaching for children and adults who have difficulty with being social). A pediatric physical therapist assists in getting group members moving through gross motor activities and play. Research shows us that movement is the basis for social learning and peer interaction, so...let's get moving!
