Social Skills Group
Play activities, picture books, pictures/photos, and videos will be utilized in a play environment to help your child to improve basic social learning skills.
Children will:
- Learn about and practice whole body listening
- Learn how to ask questions about the interests of others
- Understand facial expressions and body language for themselves and others
- Answer questions about a character's intent based on facial expressions/body language
- Guess what may happen next in a story
Wilson Reading Program
Instructed by a licensed special education teacher certified in the program, its aim is assisting children with dyslexia, below grade level reading and those with difficulty spelling. A free consultation to assess readiness skills is completed.
